Christmas 2010
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10. “This Christmas season I have been thinking of all that I have because He came. My heart has overflowed with gratitude when I consider all He endured to make that possible. The Lord Jesus had to leave Heaven´s glories and come to this earth, knowing the rejection He would face from those He loved. He came knowing that one day His Father would have to turn His back, as His son hung on a cross for the sins of the world. Yet, He was willing to endure all of that for you and for me. Because He came, I now have an abundant life. Because He came, I have absolute assurance of where I will spend eternity. Because He came, I know provisions of my every need today. Because He came, I know His special comfort amidst the tears and His arms of love in times of loneliness. Because He came, I know an abiding peace during troubling times. Because He came, I know a joy that the world cannot take away. Because He came, I have a purpose for my life. Because He came, I know true hope for tomorrow. It´s all about Him!
